My work focuses on exploring how opposing elements can coexist and form boundaries based on my temperament, which encompasses both impulsivity and avoidance. This relationship of opposition and coexistence is expressed in various forms, such as the physical and digital worlds, plants and animals (humans), and acoustic and electronic sounds. The 'invisible membrane' between these elements is depicted as creating boundaries while simultaneously enabling interaction and coexistence.

In late 2020, during a period of heightened anxiety, I experienced invisible chest pain (somatization) for the first time. This led me to focus on confronting and acknowledging repressed emotions through psychological counseling. I aimed to establish a secure base and gain a deeper understanding of the background that shaped my temperament. This journey involved examining intergenerational relationships within my family, their life goals, deficiencies, and traumas. Using a therapeutic approach called "family constellation," I have been exploring my roots across three generations.

Sound serves as a central medium in my work, which extends to video, installation, and other forms of media. The theme of opposition and coexistence also plays a significant role in the creative process itself. For example, while recording primal human sounds such as irregular breathing, crying, or shouting, I often confront conflicts with my surface-level emotions. Similarly, the process of creating materials like "scoby leather" reflects the competition and coexistence between yeast and bacteria.

Through these relationships of opposition and coexistence, I aim to delve into not only personal inner conflicts but also the complex interactions between human existence and the world. My work goes beyond mere emotional expression or formal experimentation, striving to understand the interconnected nature of the world and balance it. This approach seeks to resolve my inner conflicts while offering a new perspective on the social and cultural realities we live in. By finding equilibrium in the interaction of opposing elements, I hope to present a process where everything ultimately connects as one.

Moving forward, my work will continue to explore these boundaries, attempting new forms of coexistence that transcend the invisible membranes.
